Lundberg?s Dutch Courage
Week Eight of the iRacing.com V8 Supercar Series headed to the Dutch seaside and the Grand Prix configuration of Circuit Park Zandvoort. A fitting layout, since the real world had just seen the opening Grand Prix for 2011 in Australia. In fact, it was a miracle so many Aussie sim racers had time to qualify, in between being glued to their TVs or being trackside at Albert Park in Melbourne. In the end, local boy Mark Webber hadn’t fared so well in his home Grand Prix, so the sim racers were out in numbers to reclaim some national pride in Split One of Race One for the Monday night event.
